Its getting to be that time of year – warmer weather, longer time outdoors for our pets and the emergence of fleas, ticks and mosquitos. Ticks can carry numerous diseases – Lyme is the most common. Unfortunately Lyme disease has been spreading throughout Ontario and is endemic in some areas. Heartworm has also increased by 34% in the past year. We want to protect our pets from these serious diseases. We recommend prevention for fleas, heartworm and ticks .
Please call or email us to schedule your pet for a heartworm and tick test. We can then start them on prevention from now until the fall to protect our four legged friends.
