For someone who used to get pretty stressed taking their cats to the vet, the calm environment and reassuring nature of everyone at River Road really help make me feel less anxious every single time I bring my cats for an appointment. I cannot say enough good things about all the docs and techs at River Road. Last year I had called them to get a second opinion after spending 7 months and $$$ at another vet in town. Within one visit they had assessed, treated and educated me on how to prevent and control my youngest dogs chronic condition. Since then they've also helped me with an emergency visit for my oldest dog the day before I flew out on vacation. They were able to see my pup within 40 minutes, tested, medicated, educated and provided me with a new diet plan. The next day he was back to his old self and no issues so far (touch wood lol)
They are reasonably priced, they work with you and most importantly they genuinely care about your pets, you, AND your situation! So thankful!!

We have taken our pets to Dr. Kelly since she opened her practice. Her staff have always been kind and compassionate with pets and owners alike. Even though we have moved out of the area Dr. Kelly will continue to be our choice for TLC for all of our pets...worth the drive.

This is not our first veterinary clinic but by far our favourite. The receptionists are always welcoming and friendly. The vets I can’t say enough about, they are patient, kind, very knowledgeable, and know just what to do with dogs that don’t exactly want to be there (for shots). I was there yesterday with our Frenchie to get some shots and to get his nails trimmed and the vet went down on the floor and took her time for Tank to warm up to her, didn’t rush or refuse to trim his nails (he wasn’t exactly happy to be there). She was so kind! Was back there today with our two Dobermans and again the staff were just lovely. My dogs were really happy to walk in there as each time it’s been a positive experience and today was no exception. The young lady that trimmed their nails, took them one at a time and they really liked her!

We would like to take this time to sincerely thank Dr Kelly and her assistant Erin for their warmth and compassion as we made our difficult decision to say goodbye to our sweet Cory girl. They were both very kind and supportive and didn’t rush us in anyway. The experience was indeed sad but very very peaceful.

Dr. Amanda was the best vet I have ever seen. Unfortunately, my young lab Riley was diagnosed with cancer prior to moving to the area. Almost a month after we moved, Riley became extremely ill and required emergency medical care. The whole team at River Road Animal Hospital opened their schedule to help us with her and keep her comfortable. We unfortunately had to put her down, and Dr. Amanda was not only respectful, but emotional and involved. She supported us the entire way, reassuring us that we had done all we could, and made the process so much more comfortable. I was worried Riley would be alone once we left, and she assured me she would stay with her every step of the way. Not only is River Road Animal Hospital fair, but they are kind and gracious. I miss my girl so much, but I know she left this world peacefully and was treated fairly and with kindness. I will take every animal I ever own here, and will recommend this clinic to everyone I know. Thank you Dr. Amanda, and the whole River Road Animal Hospital team.
