I grew up in Stayner and have lived there my whole life with my mom, dad and younger brother. Ever since I can remember there was always a pet in our house; I don’t think there was a time when we did not have a dog. The first dog I can remember was Muffy, a German Shepard who we got when my brother was 8 months old and we had her for 9 years. She was the best dog ever.

Eight years ago I started my own family. My oldest son is Avery and my youngest Aiden. Our first pet, in December of 2004 was a grey long haired domestic cat named Charlie. He is a very special and my children love him. We also have in the house a Shepherd named Roxy who is full of life and keeps us very active, and a Chinchilla named Pinball who is very interesting. My kids really enjoy helping him with his sand baths. He is our oldest pet and will be 13 years old this year. It’s a houseful.

For six and a half years I worked in retail. Even though I enjoyed going to work everyday I just didn’t feel my life was being fulfilled. I was then given the opportunity to work at the River Road Animal Hospital and really enjoy it. I really look forward to coming to work every day and learning all different aspects of the animal world and getting to know all the clients and the patients.
